My family has its roots in the northern parts of Punjab, where our family name 'Arora' is quite common. We have been based in Bangalore for the past four generations, as we had set-up trade in the south. One of my uncles, Arpith Arora was a prominent stage actor. Presently we are spread-out as far the US, Australia and the Gulf, with the senior generations residing mainly in Bangalore.
